This was purchased as a birthday gift for my father, a devoted 24/7 coffee drinker. He gives the machine rave reviews! The coffee maker does a great job and the timer allows him to awaken to freshly ground and brewed coffee. Dad has commented on the ease of programming/use and cleanup, as well. I will definitely purchase one for myself when it's time to replace my current coffee maker.

We use this coffee maker at least once a day to make a full pot of coffee. When our old one broke, we immediately replaced it with the same model. It is reliable, makes great coffee and we are a fan of this product.

So very happy with this coffeemaker...we get the best coffee from the ground beans and this happy little machine keeps the java hot. Each cup tastes freshly brewed from the first cup to the last. And it's a joy not to have to deal with a leaky and awkwardly designed carafe. The cuisinart carafe balances nicely in the hand and doesn't strain your wrists. And best of all it doesn't leak all over the floor and the countertop. Even my husband, who has infrequent essential tremor issues, can't make it drip. With our old coffeemaker we had coffee that would cool off too fast and the poorly designed pot could not get the coffee to the cup without puddling at least an ounce or so of coffee.
You can use ground coffee in the machine, too, if you wish with really good results. But the coffee made with the whole bean tastes the best. My guests enjoy the coffee, and so far three of them have purchased the same model Cuisinart for their home! In fact, I bought this model because it is the same one that my sister and BIL have used for several years and we always enjoyed the coffee at their home.
